Rates

I charge £70 an hour and can provide support and advice by:

Listening and acting upon parental concerns regarding your child.
Observations of your child and report on what was seen.
Provide advice on SEND related issues.
Attending meetings to support parents when meeting with schools.
Supporting and drafting an EHCP application.
Advising parents when a change of setting needed. This could include research into alternative schools.
Reviewing draft EHCPs.
Provide SEND expertise and advice.
Other SEND consultancy for ages 3-19.

How long does the EHCP process take?

The full process usually takes around 20 weeks from the date the local authority receives your request. However, timelines can vary depending on the level of evidence required and local authority workloads. I can guide families through each stage and help ensure everything is clearly documented and submitted on time.

Who can apply for an EHCP?

A parent, carer, or school can request an Education, Health and Care Plan assessment if a child may need additional support beyond what standard SEN provision offers. I can help you prepare the evidence and communication needed to begin the process confidently.

What should I include in an EHCP application?

It’s important to include professional reports, examples of progress data, and details of interventions already tried by the school. I work with families to gather the right information and present it clearly so that the child’s needs are fully understood during assessment.
