Understanding EHCPs: A Guide for Parents

For many parents, the world of education and special needs support can feel confusing and overwhelming. Who Can Apply for an EHCP?
Any parent, carer, or young person (over 16) can request an EHCP assessment from their local authority. Schools can also make the request. If the child is struggling despite extra help already in place, it may be time to consider an EHCP application.
